L’école nationale supérieure des mines de Saint-Etienne, créée en 1816, a trois missions principales :

  • Formation d’ingénieurs et de chercheurs : plus de 1750 étudiants sur ses 2 campus, à Gardanne et à Saint-Étienne.
  • Recherche scientifique de haut niveau : 300 personnels scientifiques, 120 enseignants-chercheurs.
  • Transfert de technologies, soutien à la création d’entreprises.

ERDF is also a founder member of the GIREVE group, and is involved in the GREEN FEED project, providing all its expertise as DSO taking part into the electric vehicle charge ecosystem. This commitment to GREEN FEED project applies to the storage, the renewable energy in general, power demand, and data management for market customers and producers. Being involved in several international normalization organization (CEN-CENELEC for CE, ISO, CEI, and other accreditation mandate), ERDF will insure the communication between the project management and the normalisation work

Telecom Saint Etienne is an engineering school in the Information Technology domain, encompassing optics, vision, images, computer science, electronics, telecoms and networks. Associated to the Institut Mines Telecom, this school is member of the Saint Etienne University.

The school develops its partnering research in the scope of the Carnot Telecom and Numeric Society. In particular, the Satin research team works on the following topics: knowledge representation and reasoning, specifically at the cloud scale, services adaptation in distributed environments, and recommendation in social networks.
